Just been on the Azamara Quest-Cannes Festival Cruise outward 10th May,2008.This is the friendliest ship I have ever been on-my 10th cruise-,This is a lot to do with the open seating in the restaurant for evening meals. On entering the restaurant we are asked if we would like to share a table. We did every evening and you get to sit with different passengers, everyone introduces themselves on either an 8 seat 0r 10 seat table. We did of course meet some people twice,as the ship only holds 694 passengers. So if any one is lonely it is so easy to enjoy oneself. The 2 alternative restaurants where you pay an extra 5 dollars each were excellent, especially the night we were in Cannes, having a wonderful meal and watching the firework display on shore and expensive ships anchored near us.To expensive to get a berth in the harbour. We used tenders to go ashore,we were in Cannes for 3 days. The thing which is so good about this ship is :Photographers are not always trying to take your photo.:Shore excursion staff usally tell the day before,if we have a courtisy bus laid on,and also where the sightseeing buses are.The staff are not trying to push their own excursions all the time excursions can be very expensive ,an 8 hour one would cost over 200 hundred dollars. The passengers were mainly Ameican,Canadian,Australian and British. The space ratio is about 42.The lounges are different to other boats. There are a large number of settees, big armchairs ,just like a country club feeling.I was able to go on a Bridge Visit and alsoa kitchen visit. The facilities on board are much the same as larger ships, but on a smaller scale. The ratio of staff to passengers is one staff to two passengers. The crew and other staff really do remember your names. The tipping is US$12.25 per person per day.Very good food,BUT vegetables are just dipped in hot water and are not to everyones liking, but I found I could request steamed vegetables which were better. The Americans appear to eat roast food at breakfast, large amounts of different fish are also there. It was 4 days into the cruise before I saw a potatoe.Ice cream is made on the ship,I had ten different flavours in one day. They also serve freshly squeezed smoothies.I would recommend Azamara Cruises ,as sun loungers never get full up ,no towels on seats.Swimming pool is about15 feet long and 8 feet wide.Depth of water is at least 4 to 5 feet all over.

| Quality of Food | |
| Plenty of good food ,based mainly for Americans.Vegetables canned be quite hard, only dipped in hot water. Can order a jacket potatoe as an extra.Staff will always try to please on any requests, for food Cruise rated 5 excellent | | Entertainment | |
| A juggler fairly good, but keeps lifting his hand to get applause.Very good pianist and singer.Useless American comedian, did not understand his jokes,I asked some Americans they did not like the jokes either. | | Shore Excursions | |
| Only took one.Been in the Med. before and knew we could find Dotto Trains or sight seeing buses | | Staff | |
| The cruise director, not only did he do a turn, but he was in charge of Church services. | | Children's Facilities | |
| I do not think they had any facilities.Approx 10 children on board. | | Onboard Activities | |
| Yes.There were plenty of brand new board games, chess, scrabble, playing cards etc.Not many passengers indulged though. | | Cabins | |
| Yes,a lot of hanging space. Our balcony cabin was on the highest deck and just behind the Bridge.Absolutely quiet. The quiest cabin out of 10 cruises. | | Overall Rating | |
